Dear Angela,

Apologies, if I side-track a-bit...

Two years back, after buying my new home, I grew a bamboo tree.

The rationale for bamboo tree was that I calculated, within two years, it would be useful.

The reason was because my new house has a personal enclosed space. Althought the house is perfectly suited to me i.e. most suitable house under the Eight House and it also has a double `7' flying star in the current Period 7.

Although it is considered an excellent house; like my previous home, it can have a fair share of `poison arrow(s)' that may need to be corrected.

Just nice, when I shifted in end of last year, this bamboo tree was there to `cover' or protect my living room from a lone lamp post outside the main road.

One of the key element in Feng Shui is: protect, protect and protect... even if it may be considered an excellent home.

In your case, can you buy another plant? And place this plant on one side first?

When I have the time, I will show a few photographs of what I meant above.

In addition, I went out around Singapore Art gallerys looking for paintings with a Dragon theme.

I was fortune to have found a painting with a central dragon at the centre and it consists of nine dragons. The interesting thing is because this type of painting can be quite `strong' and powerful, you will not see the author pending his name on this painting.

This painting is at the end of my living room wall and in my opinion and my belief, it offers added protection against any other threats. Because, I have a glass frontage e.g. sliding doors at my frontage, this allows this picture's " dragon Qi " to flow out of the home especially when I open the glass panels. Again, at a later date, I will post some photos for all to see.

This is how Applied Feng Shui is applied in my personal case.

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
