May I know from what theory and who told you this?

Birth element can be determined from Pillars of Destiny, Eight House, Chinese Astrology etc.

So unless we know which one exactly you are referring to it is quite difficult for us to assist you.

However, based on what you mentioned I am guessing you are referring to the Pillars of Destiny.

It very much depends, as Pillars of Destiny does a more accurate assessment based on birth element thus in terms of birth element you should use the Pillars of Destiny.

For the direction of suitablility.

The Eight House is a better tool to determining this and can be use with a more enhanced version 24 directional ba zi feng shui to determine a more accurate good and bad suitablility.

Each theory has good and bad point and meant for a specific usage. So you need to know when to use which one to get the best out of Feng Shui.

Which theory are you refering that north-east is bad?

If you refer to the Eight House, and you are a breadwinner of the house, plus your main door falls under death or disaster. Then I am afraid, yes, it is unsuitable for you.

However, it at least the bedroom is found in a good sector it will be not so bad.

Otherwise, it will be a problem as no matter how good the house is, you will not be able to enjoy it due to the unsuitability factor.

Warmest Regards
Robert Lee
