Dear Berth,

Presently, it is hard to visualise the loft you are referring to.

So I can only comment on some issues.

1. I assume that you do have staircase going to the loft. A straight staircase is not as good as one with a landing and turns to the loft.

2. If the house has many vaulted ceiling, I don't think one can help it. Usually, the higher it is the better. But 20 feet height of the vault is good:)

3. It is not good to paint the ceiling like a sky especially using blue even if it looks like a sky as this colour also represents water and it will `weigh' down and may result in problems especially to the breadwinner.

4. As Glyn has commented, one can do a Flying Star chart if your concern is about marriage. Especially if this inauspicious sector is located in your bedroom.

5. It is good to have a window in the house and acceptable to place a curtain.

Best to avoid the following as these affect the marriage:

a. The bedroom must have a window.
b. The bedroom should not have an odd shape.

Let me congratulate you on your new home and wishing you and your family all the best:)

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
