Dear Nathalie,

In Feng Shui, there are two concepts:-

1. study facing a good direction. You can use the free Feng Shui report to look at it.

However, caution is that it is always better to have the study table position based Good Shapes and Forms than (para 1 i.e. nice to have).

For example, if the best direction is to place the study table next to the bedroom door; this may be distracting to your eldest son even if the direction is good!

2. Another traditional idea is that if it window of the bedroom open out and to the right (a distance away); there is a tall e.g. tower, this signifies, scholaristic achievement. Many FS practitioners encourage the placement of a small figurine of a pagoda (metal, glass or ceramic) on the right side of the study table.

In my opinion, this does not mean that the child will pass all his exams with flying colours but rather, one day, it is hoped that he complete e.g. university.

In some cases, we hear of children who even fail badly in a specific exam e.g. primary or secondary school. And because having tasted the bitterness, and thru good upbringing, he/she may eventually, excel ...

I am not too sure about your layout plan with regards to the extend of missing corner and its relationship with the rest of the layout plan. In my opinion, you may try to place one there (trial and error Feng Shui).

Warmest Regards,
Cecil
